More and more you find yourself thinking unconventional thoughts, doing out of the ordinary activities that actually begin to describe who you really are and provide you with freedom of expression. It would be good to tell close friends and family that you’re moving into an unusual, original, perhaps eccentric period of creativeness. It’s also a time of seeking more play. Unusual attractions occur, too.

Can You Imagine..
.. love without jealousy, without possessiveness– love cleaned of all it’s clinginess and desperation? Lets try. We can take some thoughts from Buddhism: What would it be like to love without attachment? Or to open our hearts to someone with no expectation beyond another heart opening in return? Loving just for the joy of it, regardless of what we might get back?”
An interesting concept. The Ethical Slut continues to be an enjoyable book to read, though I wont lie, it’s not a page turner. I can’t sit and read through it all at once. It’s words carry a heavy message and I like to be able to take the time to digest their meaning.
I also had a really good sandwich for lunch today.
Peace? Hah. Relaxation is Key.
So if you read my last post you know exactly what I was doing that night. Shortly after that update I got a text from Katie and proceeded to spend all weekend with her until I went to work Sunday (11:30a – 8:30p)
Last night when I got home I was emotionally and physically exhausted. I was glad to be home. I slept for about 12 hours and I’m still so very tired. I don’t care that my day off is wasting away, I honestly don’t have anything I -have- to do today and I’m spending it in bed, reading books, playingon my laptop. Easy peasy.
My trailer little 15′ trailer is getting moved up to my dad’s house this afternoon. Then I begin the cleaning/restoration. It obviously didn’t get moved up here as soon as I would’ve liked so now I’m going to be strapped for time. But whatever, I will do the best that I can.
I plan on taking pictures of the process.. so there will be a nice little ‘mini photo blog’ series happening while I work on it.
So there’s that. Hah. Time to lay back down.
Peace
I’m at home right now. Sitting on my bed, in my pajamas, eating a ham and cheese hot pocket.
I almost walked out on my job today. I was slammed and my co-worker left me hanging in a bad way. Mean customers, rude coworkers (from other departments) and I kept hurting myself.
I survived, as I always do. But it sucked.
I don’t know if I mentioned already, but I have a hard on for masks. Maquerade style, venetian, mardi gras.. They’re all pretty epic. I’ve wanted a reason to try my hand at making one and Mike and I have decided that when we move in together in October (or novemeber, hah) we’ll theme our house warming party with Masquerade.
So I was checking out masks last night and I kept seeing these crazy masks that are like $300. And I’m not saying I’m going to be amazing at it right off the bat, but I can make them. My history leaves me with a pretty amazing knowledge of products available to you at a local craft store, and application. For over a year and a half I did Demo’s at Michaels Arts and Crafts every single weekend on the most bizarre items.
That being said, I spent some money after work today gathering the basic necessities to try my hand at it.
So I bought some basic masks so that I can have a base. I plan on expanding and adjusting these to my needs with the wireform and sculptamold. The hot glue gun is self explanatory.. I think. I’m super super excited about the possibilities. Once I build their faces, then I will worry about decorating. I want to try a bird, a cat, and possibly the moon. I don’t even know why I bought eh stupid full face mask. I guess I just got ahead of myself. Hahaha. Maybe I will make it into a hanging wall mask.
So yeah. I’m happy and fricken exhausted.
