Accordion!

Hey Readers!

I have had a couple of very exciting days! I went to my Aunts house for a super ninja surprise visit. I live so close to her and I’ve really been neglecting visit time. Between driving out to my sisters’ house (50mi round trip) and being crafty (read: recluse) I’ve just not made the time to go hang. So I popped in and we got to talking about me helping her clear her attics and sell all of her craft supplies and antiques online. I asked her about her accordions that she has and she says she pulled hers down and has started playing again!

I immediately get excited and tell her how I always wanted her to teach me but I was never close by. We make plans for me to return on Monday and we pull out her smaller accordion and I have my first lesson.

I have had a blast practicing and hording information online. Pics tomorrow! Back to practice.

For Shame

I walked out on my new job. Well, technically I finished a shift and just never went back. 11 hour shift with no breaks? I’ll pass. A Manager who doesn’t know what triple sec is for? No thanks.

I’m back on the job hunt. It’s soooo boring.

I’m setting up a website for my sisters business so that should at least be something new and exciting.

One of my ninja poi aren’t working as well as it should which is a shame. I’ve had them for a few years but only used them a handful of times. It’s a little late to complain to the manufacturers now.

I need more pictures! Damn.

Employment!

Well I got hired at the bar! Yes, that’s right, I’m finally going to be part of the work force again.

Thank God. I’m sick of being broke.

In other news I had my purse stolen last Sunday. M and I went down to the river after going to the Lane County Fair and when we got back to his truck the passenger side window had been smashed in and my purse was gone. Now, usually, I don’t even take my purse to the river and if I do I will lock it in my trunk. We didn’t take my car and I put it behind the passenger seat.. Well that obviously didn’t stop shit.

They left his GPS and stereo deck and a few other valuables in the truck. They just grabbed my purse.. and MAGICALLY my iPod fell out of my purse as they snatched it. Mike found it the next day underneath the back of the passenger seat. I was so fucking happy! You see, that shit happened to me all the time with my old purse. If you tipped it even a little bit in the wrong direction it would puke everything out of the small purse in the front.. which I kept my iPod and cigarettes in (my cigs were with me on the beach.)

So fuck those mother fuckers. What does suck is that I had my SS card in there (Big no-no.. I just forgot to take it out after my last job!) and two forms of photo ID. My Oregon ID card and my California drivers license.

So I get to take the driving test over again. Fuck. That shit scares me. I know I’m a good driver (no tickets) and I’ve obviously passed before.. but still the anxiety.

Oh and the money. Did I mention I’m a broke chick?

If someone wants to steal my identity let them. I don’t have credit and a shit ton of debt.

Fuck it, I got a job! Today is a good day.

xoxo

Elliptical and Interviews

Let’s start with the elliptical. My sister is awesome and gave us her E
elliptical after she decided to buy a treadmill. Woohoo! I’ve been struggling with my keto diet after going strong for two weeks and not loosing a single pound. Why would I continue torturing myself.
So exercise it is.

Onto the job interviews! I finally got two calls back after putting in what felt like one-hundred applications. One for a barista position and the other for bartender. The bartending interview went really well.

Wish me luck!
