FINALLY

Just to get it out of the way: This post is not nearly as exciting or important as the title leads on.

I finally (see use of the title word there?) got my PC all hooked up in our spare bedroom.. or as I like to call it, my craft room. It’s been so cold here lately I just kept putting it off. This morning once I climbed out of bed I ran into the freezing cold spare bedroom and kicked on the radiator heater. By lunch it was nice and warm and I got to work. Sprained Ankle and Golden Years

As I mentioned in my previous post I’ve sprained my ankle. It’s a bit better now but still pretty purple. I’m glad I can walk on it comfortably again. It was driving me nuts. I’ve never injured my feet or ankles before.

I was especially worried because this weekend is the Coburg Golden Years festival that I’m volunteering at. I will be working in the beer garden so if I wasn’t able to stand I would have had to back out at the last minute.

I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve been searching and applying for jobs all week and so far no luck. It will be nice to be finally doing something other than just thinking about doing something.

Coburg, Oregon – Golden Years

Heck yes! I will be volunteering both nights at the my fair towns Golden Years celebration. Doing what? Beer Garden. I don’t want my bartending skills to get rusty while I look for work. Should be fun.

While there are a few parts that are rather long winded. The Golden Years festival is a local fundraiser and all of the money we gain stays in the community. Not Eugene, or any of the other surrounding area’s, just our small town of 1000 people. Yes, I will take pictures.
