Just to get it out of the way: This post is not nearly as exciting or important as the title leads on.

I finally (see use of the title word there?) got my PC all hooked up in our spare bedroom.. or as I like to call it, my craft room. It’s been so cold here lately I just kept putting it off. This morning once I climbed out of bed I ran into the freezing cold spare bedroom and kicked on the radiator heater. By lunch it was nice and warm and I got to work. I did a lot of sorting and set up my painting station as well as getting my PC hooked up.

Actually, I had to hook up my PC twice. I had forgotten that I am allowing Mike to use my wireless USB modem (his computer is in the bedroom) and so I had to take apart and then put it all back together closer to my modem. Turns out I have a big ol’ 3ft cable, so obviously having my PC on one end of the room and the modem on another was not going to work out.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful new years. Mine way great, I was very happy to be able to see my fam bam but shortly after I got really really sick (again why it took so long to get the computer set up) and then of course the day I start feeling better.. Mike gets sick. Luckily now we’re all better.

What else is there to really write about? I’ve been working on accordion (surprise!) and using my pinterest to try and rally up some ideas for paintings. I haven’t finished a painting in so long I feel I really need to get back on the horse.
